The Hug chest of drawers by Capo D'opera is a modern piece with a distinctive sculptural presence. Its main feature is the pleated surface that creates a unique chiaroscuro effect, giving lightness to the volumes. The sturdy structure supports a tabletop framed by edges projecting upwards. Thanks to the meticulously designed details, the chest of drawers and bedside table, whether used individually or in combination, become the absolute protagonists of the bedroom.
STRUCTURE OF THE HUG CHEST OF DRAWERS BY CAPO D'OPERA:
The outer sides and fronts are characterized by a vertically pleated pattern.
The sides and back are joined at a 45-degree angle and have a chamfered top edge. The top is recessed by 3cm.
The top drawer has a 45-degree cut on both sides and the upper edge is chamfered. All other drawers have a 45-degree cut on only 2 sides.
The bottom drawer opens with a handle on the front, while for the center drawer, there is an invisible milling that allows it to open.
In bedside tables with an open compartment, the fronts of the drawers protrude laterally to facilitate opening.
As standard, the containers are double-sided with a smooth matt lacquered rear panel. Upon request, the pattern can also be applied to the rear.
The containers have a raised bottom compared to the sides to allow for the attachment of the front plinth and the accommodation of adjustable feet.
