"I designed these vases thinking about the flowers they will have to contain: almost to bring them back to their original habitat. What can be a better container if not their own roots, the tool by which nourishment, water, reaches the petals and leaves? Root vases are ambivalent objects that want to combine simple lines with an iconic shape: a transparent glass cylinder is combined with an inner element in coloured glass that represents the root of a flower. These products, made of glass are ambivalent because they can be used in two directions: on the one hand as a solifleur, and on the other for a more generous bouquet ".
