Melamine / HPL Finishes | La Primavera
HPL finishes
High-pressure laminate (HPL) is made of sheets impregnated with phenolic resins plus a decorative sheet impregnated with melamine resins. Quality components and a production process that combines high pressure (90 kg/cm²) and heat (150 °C) give rise to the polycondensation of the resins in special presses. The result is a material with outstanding mechanical and chemical resistance that, together with its workability and easy maintenance, makes HPL extremely resistant to chemicals, abrasion and scratches.

Stratified HPL finishes
“Stratified” HPL is a structural board, about 1 cm thick, that needs no chipboard or MDF core. It can therefore be shaped without lacquering or plastic edging.

Melamine finishes
Unlike HPL, the decorative sheets in melamine panels are pressed directly onto the support board, at lower pressures. The result is a panel that is still highly resistant to chemicals, abrasion and scratches, and delivers impressive realism, depth and texture – especially with registered-pore finishes.

Excellent colour rendering
The material images were produced with great care using state-of-the-art equipment.
Shot on original manufacturer samples with professional cameras and lighting, they are highly accurate; however, the final product may show slight colour variations depending on ambient light and surroundings.
