Textilene fabric, what it is and how to clean it

Textilene fabric is a registered trademark of Twitchell Corporation, a synthetic material whose structure derives from the interweaving of polyester fibers covered with a PVC sheath, very resistant, innovative, indestructible.

A sturdy fabric that guarantees maximum hold and resistance to sudden changes in temperature, UV rays, chlorine and saltiness, this particular Textilene® fiber is able to block 80% of solar radiation, it is used to make sun loungers and deckchairs for beach and garden.

It is also used as a covering for chairs, armchairs, hammocks, sun screens and mosquito nets.

Cleaning and protection of the Textilene fabric

Products using Textilene fiber must be covered during the winter season, avoiding exposure to water and low temperatures.

Cleaning is very simple, washing at a maximum temperature of 40 °, ordinary cleaning with a damp sponge, water and soap, it must not be dry cleaned and no ironing.
