Created by designer Jai Jalan, the Lacoon Island Désirée armchair has a unique and captivating modern style. It looks like a revolving, enveloping, cosy, soft and original island. A perfect seat for pleasant relaxation.

Lacoon Island Désirée features a removable cover in leather and fabric that harmoniously complements modern indoor spaces.

Technical features

The frame is made of metal embedded in cold-foamed polyurethane and upholstered with bonded protective fabric.

• Seat cushions: feather with polyurethane insert, in feather-proof fabric cover.
• Back cushions: Flyn-feather (feather and polyester fibre) in feather-proof fabric cover.
• Base: matt black painted metal.
• Upholstery: fully removable fabric and leather, also in the déco version.

The main characteristics of the armchair upholstery are:

• softness, it concerns the ability to support and distribute the weight of the body adequately;
• breathability, it allows the dispersion of body heat and humidity, generating a pleasant sensation of wellbeing;
• reliability, indicates the durability of the elastic performance of the materials.

The Lacoon Désirée armchair optionally includes three simultaneous 360-degree rotating movements: armchair base, table top and arm structure.

Lacoon Désirée, an idea by Jai Jalan

Canadian designer, Jai Jalan started out in the automotive and nautical industry with a multifaceted aptitude for product design. He has been active in the furniture industry since 2006. In 2006 the TULISS sofa was listed in the top 10, in 2007 the Eli Fly chaise loungue was listed in the top 10, and in 2009 the Lacoon armchair received special mention. In 2011, the TIFY bèrgere was mentioned in the top 10.
