Different types of leather: printed leather or natural grain leather

Printed leather, also known as corrected leather, has a smooth grain that improves its appearance. A matt finish is applied to this type of leather to conceal certain defects.

Printed leather, on the other hand, is more uniform than natural leather because its surface is compressed during processing.
